The iOS 8 surely made a lot of changes to the photos app on Apple mobile gadgets, and this is known to be a great thing for those who love to take some nice pictures. There are some optimized settings such as its own photo editor, iCloud synchronization, and of course, this folder. This is a folder that acts the same way as the Recycle Bin or Trash program for Windows and Apple, respectively. But take note that this is for pictures only, and you will be able to see your photos so that you can still think about restoring them.

There are lots of people who are not that techie when it comes to gadgets that surely loved this feature, and it’s all thanks to the developers that made data restoration a lot easier than before. This is truly great for parents that might have kids that accidentally removed your picture such as getting it double tapped by mistake. This is a nice idea that’s well made by the developers of Apple – taking note that there are lots of people who delete photos by mistake as well. For techie people, this made things a lot easier for them as well.

This album is known to be non-customizable. This means that you will never be able to edit pictures using this album, or even do anything that you want. This is only meant for deleting and restoring the pictures, and of course for you to double check what did you delete so far.

But if you’re pissed off with this folder because it might be eating up a lot of space on your phone, then you can tweak the actual iOS for you to edit your features. For users that have a jailbroken iOS, then tweak yours with NoRecentlyDeleted which is a program that removes this new feature. In this way, your way of deleting pictures will go back to what it was.

The noRecentlyDeleted app is known to have no customizations, and will just provide you a nice way to remove the album for your preferences. But there are news that the developers are working about adding up options such as letting you hide the album instead and wait for the pictures to be deleted, or you can go ahead and just remove it.

The NoRecentlyDeleted app is known to be available lately, and take note that this might be helpful if you really hate the fact that the Recently Deleted album is a good thing to have. The BigBoss repo under Cydia has the program already, and all of you can now use it for your own comfort in handling pictures the way it was. All you need to do is to search for it on Cydia if you have a jailbroken phone.
